Business Development Manager

What we're looking for

A driven and competitive sales person who will deliver sales targets for new business growth across the LR portfolio of solutions serving the Offshore Energy market. Using consultative engagements to develop and close multi-million-pound sales opportunities with the world's largest energy companies, including operators/developers, EPCIs, OEMs, over long sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.

The role
  • Identify and Qualify: Offshore Energy projects and clients with the greatest opportunities within your sales territory.
  • Engage and Discover: Proactively engage with key personnel to build relationships and gather intelligence within offshore energy client groups, aligning with sales strategies.
  • Propose and Iterate: Develop and present tailored proposals that meet client needs, collaborating with SMEs and bid managers.
  • Bid and Win: Collaborate with bid teams to submit timely, competitive bids and engage clients to close sales.
  • Own your numbers: Be accountable for sales performance, maintaining accurate data in Salesforce for reliable forecasting.
  • Learn and Share: Deepen understanding of LR solutions, participate in marketing events, and expand sales networks.
What you bring
  • Proven experience in consultative sales within offshore energy sectors or relevant technical expertise with a desire to transition into sales.
  • Experience and contacts in offshore energy markets globally, including operators, EPCIs, OEMs.
  • Willingness to travel worldwide as needed.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate value propositions at all organizational levels.
  • Strong sales forecasting, negotiation, collaboration, and market awareness skills.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
