A dynamic opportunity is available for a Senior Commercial Officer to provide key commercial support in the delivery of profitable business outcomes. Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager, this role is pivotal in ensuring contractual arrangements with customers and suppliers align with the company’s commercial interests, offering strategic guidance and governance across all business functions.

So, what will you be doing as a Senior Commercial Officer?

- Draft, review, and negotiate a range of agreements including NDAs, PIAs, MoUs, LTAs, agency agreements, statements of work, and teaming agreements.
- Manage customer contracts on a day-to-day basis, maintaining effective communication and fostering strong client relationships on contractual matters.
- Identify commercial risks and contribute to the development of mitigation strategies, reporting progress internally.
- Provide contractual advice and guidance to project, operations, and procurement teams.
- Support the identification and control of scope changes and contract variations.
- Assist in negotiating and drafting flow-down terms and conditions for suppliers.
- Maintain accurate contract records, including uploading documentation, generating new contract records, and managing pricing adjustments and payments.
- Coordinate with export control teams to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

What are we looking for in our next Senior Commercial Officer?

- Hold a degree in Business, Law, or a related field is essential; additional commercial qualifications (e.g., IACCM) are highly desirable.
- At least 3 years of relevant commercial experience within aerospace, defence, or a related technology industry, with demonstrated capability in contract management, risk mitigation, and stakeholder engagement.
