Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in a security role.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbally.
• An SIA CCTV Licence would be advantageous but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Check that all equipment, keys, registers etc. required during the shift are available.
• Ensure Company premises are always secure.
• Train staff in relevant CCTV systems.

We are now recruiting for a Security Supervisor to join our Facilities Security Team.

You will play a key role in overseeing the Security operations aligned to the security of Allied Vehicles’ premises.

Hours of work are on a rota basis, working a mix of days and nights between Monday and Saturday and the salary is £14 per hour.

The Main Duties Of The Role Are

• On arrival at site, check that all equipment, keys, registers etc. required during the shift are available.
• Ensure Company premises are always secure.
• Comply with CCTV procedures, ensuring that alarms are acknowledged and as required in line with Company procedures.
• Train staff in relevant CCTV systems
• Report any accidents/incidents to police and your manager without delay and log in security handover book
• Do not permit any person onto the site without prior authority from management
• Do not allow any vehicles or items of company property to be taken from the site without prior authority from management
• Create shift Rota’s and issue out to team
• Act as first point of contact for calls from Security staff
  
  

To Be Effective In This Role, You Will Have

• Previous supervisory experience in a security role
• Excellent CCTV knowledge
• Good communication skills, both written and verbally
• An SIA CCTV Licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
