Durham County Council is seeking a full-time Administration Assistant to support the Facilities Management team. Responsibilities include placing orders, managing access control, and providing administrative support. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, along with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
A vacancy has arisen within Business Services for a full-time Administration Assistant.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a team supporting the Facilities Management team. The role is based at Corten House, Durham.
The duties include:
We are looking for an enthusiastic team player who takes pride in providing excellent customer service.
The successful candidate will have good communication skills, be able to work under pressure to tight deadlines, with a high degree of accuracy, be well-organised and flexible, have good IT skills, and manage changing priorities.
You will also need to be able to work unsupervised using your initiative.
You should have 5 GCSEs (grades A-C) or equivalent. Please refer to the attached person specification for the full criteria.
