Area Sales Manager

Homebased / Field Sales – East London

Up to £40,000 + uncapped bonus potential, company car or travel allowance & home-based contract

Kff is a regional food wholesaler with around 250 colleagues based near Maidstone, Kent. We are part of Sysco, the world’s largest foodservice provider with over 65,000 colleagues globally. Kff has a family feel with a close-knit team, supplying local pub and restaurant customers as well as delivering directly to caterers.

Here at Kff, we have ambitious growth plans and are looking for Area Sales Managers responsible for winning and maximising independent foodservice business in your area. What you will be doing:

You will be responsible for your own territory's success by:

  1. Gaining, growing, and retaining customers to deliver profitable volume growth against targets.
  2. Researching your target audience and opportunities within your territory.
  3. Building and leveraging strong customer relationships through face-to-face meetings and understanding customer needs.
  4. Onboarding new customers effectively while maintaining relationships with existing accounts and tracking activity.
  5. Partnering with customers to understand their growth plans, adding value, and offering practical solutions and products.
  6. Understanding competitor activity and proposals to ensure you offer the best local solutions to your customers.
What we are looking for:

We seek someone capable of winning new business and maximizing sales from existing customers. You should be commercially astute, proficient in Excel, and skilled in building and maintaining relationships. Most importantly, you must have a passion for sales! A food industry background is a plus but not essential.
