Role: SEND Teaching Assistant

Based in Oldbury, Sandwell, as a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in helping students achieve their personal best in a supportive, caring, and dynamic setting.

Connex Education is recruiting qualified and experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to support a Special Educational Needs Primary School.

This role involves working closely with students across KS1 and KS2 with diverse needs and abilities, providing extra support to help them succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. Every day offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with SEND.

Role Requirements

• Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent UK qualification is essential.
• Previous experience working with SEN students is desirable.
• Team Teach training is desirable.
• Experience working in education is essential.
• A commitment to promoting equality and diversity.
• Understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through Connex Education.
