Learning Support Assistant

Salary: £444.60 per week

Location: Shrewsbury

ABC Teachers is excited to announce an opening for a passionate Learning Support Assistant at a vibrant SEND school in Shrewsbury.

Role Overview

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students individually and in small groups. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate a student-centered learning environment, assist with classroom activities, and ensure the unique needs of each student are met.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with teachers to provide effective classroom support tailored to the diverse needs of students.
• Foster an inclusive atmosphere that encourages students to achieve their full potential.
• This is a full-time, ongoing position, with opportunities to start immediately or in September 2024.

About You

To be considered for the Learning Support Assistant role, you should:

• Demonstrate the ability to build strong rapport with students and create a positive learning environment.
• Have prior experience working with children and young individuals with SEND.
• Possess excellent communication and behavior management skills.
• Be prepared to provide suitable references and undergo a DBS check.
