We are seeking an experienced Post-Room Security Officer to work as part of a team based within a newly built, prestigious development in Paddington, London.

Your key duties will include receiving, x-raying, and logging all deliveries accurately onto the post room system and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

This is a full-time role working from 0700 to 1900, Monday to Friday.

We offer a competitive rate of pay of £13.94 per hour, and you will be entitled to 28 days of holiday per annum, including bank holidays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a good working knowledge of post-room procedures to assist tenants with queries
  • Log all outgoing couriers correctly and obtain signatures upon collection
  • Log all incoming Royal Mail on the Omnipost system
  • Hand over all outgoing Royal Mail to Royal Mail
  • Log all incoming couriers/deliveries on the MyTag system and obtain signatures upon collection
  • Proficient use of relevant communication equipment, requiring good communication skills
  • Greet visitors and carry out relevant security procedures
  • Undertake patrols and inspections as per management instructions
  • Adhere to all health and safety policies
  • Perform additional duties as reasonably required
  • Assist staff and visitors as needed
  • Prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas
  • Keep accurate records of incidents
