Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Post-Room Security Officer to work as part of a team based within a newly built, prestigious development in Paddington, London.

Your key duties will include receiving, x-raying and logging all deliveries accurately onto the post room system and ensuring smooth day-to-day running.

This is a full-time role working 0700-1900 Monday to Friday.

We offer a competitive rate of pay of £13.94 per hour and you will be entitled to 28 days of holiday per annum including bank holidays.

Key Responsibilities
  • A good working knowledge of post-room procedures to help tenants with queries
  • Ensure all outgoing couriers are logged correctly and signed for by the courier in collection
  • Log all incoming Royal mail on the Omnipost system
  • Hand all outgoing Royal mail to Royal Mail
  • Log all incoming couriers/deliveries on the MyTag system and obtain signatures upon collection
  • Proficient use of relevant communication equipment and good communication skills
  • Greet visitors and carry out relevant security procedures
  • Undertake patrols and inspections as instructed
  • Adhere to all H&S policies
  • Perform additional duties as reasonably required
  • Assist staff and visitors as needed
  • Prevent unauthorized access to prohibited areas
  • Maintain accurate incident records
