Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and results-driven Manager to join our dynamic growth team. The Manager will play a pivotal role in leading a team to provide data-driven insights and strategic analysis to support business decisions and drive growth. This position requires a strong background in financial analysis, market trends, and commercial strategy, along with the ability to communicate complex findings clearly to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Team building:
  • Identify capabilities and talent needed to build a best-in-class function
  • Develop relationships cross-service lines, and geographies and leverage existing pockets of excellence to scale
  • Deploy resources optimally to execute on new and established strategies
  • Financial Analysis & Reporting:
  • Direct and lead financial modeling and analysis for commercial activities, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic goals
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and financial performance tracking tools
  • Provide detailed variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for business growth
  • Market & Competitive Analysis:
  • Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify key trends, customer behaviors, and emerging opportunities
  • Analyze commercial performance across different business units, regions, or product lines
  • Support the identification of new markets and expansion opportunities through data-driven insights
  • Strategic Business Support:
  • Collaborate with commercial, sales, and marketing teams to provide actionable insights that inform business strategies and operational decisions
  • Develop recommendations on pricing, product offerings, and sales strategies based on market analysis
  • Support the development and execution of strategic initiatives that drive revenue growth and improve profitability
  • Stakeholder Communication:
  • Present complex financial and commercial data in a clear and concise manner to senior management and other stakeholders
  • Prepare and deliver presentations that highlight key business insights, risks, and opportunities
  • Build relationships with internal teams and external partners to foster collaboration and ensure alignment with commercial goals
  • Drive process improvements in commercial analysis, reporting, and data visualization
  • Leverage technology and analytics tools to automate tasks and enhance efficiency in commercial decision-making

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field. MBA or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CMA)
  • Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in commercial analysis, financial analysis, or related fields and in building teams and adding capability to drive growth and margin
  • Proven track record of working with senior leadership to inform and influence strategic decisions
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, KPIs, pricing strategies, and market dynamics
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights
  • Preference for candidates that have utilized and implemented AI tools to drive productivity and decision making

Preferred:

  • Experience in professional services, software (SaaS), and workflow management
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and other business intelligence software
