At Megan's, we're expanding into exciting new neighbourhoods, and we're on the lookout for a talented Finance Manager to join our support team at a pivotal moment in our growth journey.

The Role

As Finance Manager, you'll lead the financial reporting function at Megan's, working closely with our Finance Director and managing one team member (with potential to grow). The FD oversees multiple areas of the business, making this role ideal for a proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

This position is based in our beautiful Clapham Old Town restaurant, where our support team is located.

This is a development role: we're seeking a Finance Manager with the ambition and ability to step into a Financial Controller position within 12 months.

What You'll Be Doing

1. Leading the delivery of timely, accurate daily, weekly, and month-end reporting across all sites.
2. Reviewing and resolving monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
3. Producing insightful monthly management accounts, with variance analysis vs. budget, forecast, and prior periods.
4. Presenting financial results to the operations and leadership teams, and partnering on performance strategies.
5. Owning the external audit process and preparation of statutory accounts.
6. Driving continuous improvement in financial systems, controls, and processes.
7. Preparing cash flow forecasts and working capital analysis.
8. Leading investment appraisals for new site openings and other capital projects.
9. Supporting the annual budget cycle and quarterly reforecasts.
10. Managing VAT returns and other statutory filings.

What We're Looking For

1. ACA / ACCA / CA qualified, with 2+ years post-qualification experience.
2. Hospitality experience is a bonus but not essential.
3. Commercially sharp, detail-focused, and confident in communication across the business.
4. Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience leading reporting processes.
5. Advanced Excel skills and a passion for turning data into insights.
6. A self-starter mindset with initiative and a collaborative spirit.
