We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Sales to lead our UK Sales function, drive revenue growth, and contribute to the success of our company.
Purpose of the Role:
To lead and manage the UK sales function (RMS, MI, SA&I, G14, IV25),
Developing and driving company strategy
Manage the P&L to meet agreed business targets
To raise the commercial capability of the UK commercial function
To improve client engagement and understanding to add greater ‘partnership value’ to clients (delight clients by helping them win)
To deliver sustainable profitable growth from new and existing clients.
Responsibilities
Leadership of the ‘Heads of Team’ to build a best-in-class team, execute strategy, and deliver long-term revenue and profit growth
Build a talent pool to ensure success is sustainable; make Nielsen UK Sales a ‘destination’ assignment for talent
Ensure client contracts reflect the NIQ service model
Work within budget and optimize costs
Maximize sales through increased penetration, new service launches, and liaising with global heads
Ensure maximum collaboration between the Commercial team and supporting functions
Take responsibility for projects in the business area, ensuring scope and timing are fulfilled within budgets
Deliver greater value to clients by establishing a deeper understanding of their needs, e.g., consultancy-based selling
Build the NielsenIQ brand and reputation within the industry
Qualifications
