A leading organization is seeking a Commercial Deputy Director to join the Parliamentary Commercial Directorate. This role involves managing a team, overseeing procurement activities, and ensuring compliance with policies while working on high-profile projects. We are looking for a Commercial Deputy Director to join the Parliamentary Commercial Directorate (PCD).
PCD is expected to become a joint department of both Houses later in 2025, led by a new Chief Commercial Officer and strengthening PCD’s position as a cross-parliament function.You willwork as part of a growing and ambitious function, committed to ensuringthe value for money from our nearly £1bn in annual spend and supporting transformational projects across the organisation and our estate, including at the Palace of Westminster which is a UNECSO world heritage site.
This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of the PCD Senior Leadership Team, working at the heart of operational delivery, capability, capacity and pipeline planning, stakeholder management and making sure that the commercial processes and templates needed are being properly utilised to deliver compliant procurements.
You will be applying your experience of leading complex commercial projects and acting as a trusted advisor across high profile and unique projects. You’ll be leading the commercials on complex construction projects to building refurbishments and maintenance, across a range of buildings across the Parliamentary Estate.
This is an opportunity to work on a hybrid basis, with an expectation to be on-site at Parliament for a minimum of 2 days per week. This is a fantastic opportunityfor an organised, self-motivated and engaged individual who is also an active team player and contributor.
