Food+ by Compass, part of Restaurant Associates (part of Compass Group UK&I), is seeking a passionate Senior Chef De Partie for a high-profile contract with a tech company.

Role Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food to the highest standards in a clean, safe, and pleasant environment.
  2. Support the kitchen's smooth operation under the guidance of senior team members, ensuring outstanding food experiences.
  3. Ensure compliance with Compass processes, health and safety, and food hygiene regulations, aligning with client expectations.

Schedule:

8 hours per day, Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare and cook sufficient food to meet customer demand with minimal waste.
  2. Have knowledge of the food prepared to advise customers and participate in daily menu briefs.
  3. Provide excellent service consistently.
  4. Manage a specific station within the kitchen effectively.
  5. Follow directions from senior kitchen staff and coordinate junior team members.
  6. Ensure food quality through taste, presentation, and standards.
  7. Maintain cleanliness and attractiveness of kitchen and service areas during service.
  8. Comply with fire, health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
  9. Use all equipment and resources responsibly and safely.
  10. Adhere to food hygiene procedures during preparation.
  11. Engage proactively with team initiatives and innovations.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years as Chef de Partie
  • Alignment with Compass values and attributes
  • Knowledge of industry trends and client training
  • Strong communication skills across all levels
