Food+ by Compass, part of Restaurant Associates (part of Compass Group UK&I), is looking for a passionate Senior Chef De Partie for a high-profile contract with a tech company.

You will work with the Head/Sous Chef and GM to assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food to the highest standards in a clean, tidy, safe, and pleasant environment. You will also assist in the smooth running of the kitchen under the guidance of senior team members, ensuring outstanding food experiences. Additionally, you will support your team to ensure compliance with Compass processes, health and safety, food hygiene regulations, and client expectations.

Schedule: 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday.

The key responsibilities include:

  1. Preparing and cooking food to meet customer choices with minimal waste.
  2. Having knowledge about the food to advise customers and participating in daily menu briefs.
  3. Providing excellent service consistently.
  4. Managing a specific station within the kitchen effectively.
  5. Following directions from senior kitchen staff and coordinating efforts of junior team members.
  6. Ensuring food quality, taste, presentation, and adherence to standards.
  7. Maintaining cleanliness and attractiveness of the kitchen and service areas during service.
  8. Complying with fire, health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
  9. Carrying out food hygiene procedures diligently.
  10. Engaging in innovative thinking and teamwork.

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. Minimum of 3 years' experience as Chef de Partie.
  2. Alignment with Compass values and attributes.
  3. Knowledge of industry trends and ability to utilize client training effectively.
  4. Strong communication skills to interact confidently at all levels within the business.
