Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Catering Assistant to join our team working at Macclesfield Academy SK11 8JR..

You will be working as part of a fantastic team, serving customers, and providing excellent customer service throughout. You will be required to perform basic food preparation and perform general cleaning tasks both back and front-of-house.

• This is a part-time position, 20 hours per week, Shift range between 10.30am – 2.30pm, leaving your evenings free - a rarity when you work within culinary.
• Hourly rate £12.21.

A day in the life of a Catering Assistant:

• Basic food preparation including sandwiches, grab and go items, basic hot food if required.
• Serving students and operating the till, ensuring you are always providing excellent customer service.
• Stocking up and putting away deliveries
• General cleaning back and front of house, making sure the unit is clean and tidy before, during and after service.

You will be set up for success if you have:

• The ability to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
• Previous catering experience is desirable, however full training will be given on site.
