Join the team at Norse Catering and help make a difference to the lives of young people through delivering healthy, nutritious, and balanced meals at Stoke Holy Cross Primary School. We offer fully funded accredited courses, excellent career progression, and job satisfaction from giving back to your community and improving people's lives.

The opportunity:

This is a term-time only position, working 38 weeks per year, offering you a great work-life balance. Your pay will be pro rata, and you will receive 1/12th of your salary every month, regardless of whether it's school holidays or not!

A day in the life:

You will become an integral part of the school team, supporting the preparation and serving of lunches for students and staff, ensuring an engaging and interactive experience for all.

Upholding high levels of hygiene and cleanliness is vital, including setting up service areas from the kitchen or dining areas so they are ready for mealtimes and tidying up after service.

About you:

If you have previous catering experience, we would love to hear from you. However, we have worked hard to create extensive induction and training programs, so if you enjoy home cooking and baking and have a passion for good food, we can help you adapt to a commercial catering environment!

We are looking for people who are passionate about supporting others and who share our core values:

  • We act with integrity.
  • We pursue better.
