Contract type: Full and part-time hours available
Rate: £12.21 per hour

Assist the Chef in preparing and cooking food, setting dining tables, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness. Ensure residents have a positive dining experience, especially during meal times, which are vital in our care environment.

About the role

Our Catering Assistants prepare nutritious meals for residents with diverse dietary needs. Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with food preparation
2. Keeping the kitchen clean and tidy, including washing up, cleaning freezers, and mopping floors
3. Cleaning and sanitising tableware
4. Understanding residents' needs and preferences to help develop suitable menus
5. Interacting with residents to gather feedback on meals
6. Ensuring food hygiene standards are met
7. Working as part of the Catering Team as a great team player

No prior care sector experience is necessary; we provide induction, buddy support, and ongoing training. We value relevant experience and qualifications but they are not essential. Most importantly, you should embody our values of fun, integrity, responsiveness, success, and teamwork.
