Description
This individual will be responsible for raising the firm's profile as a Tier 1 solutions provider to the Private Capital market in the UK and Middle East, generating new client revenues to meet sales targets. Target clients include Pure Player Private Capital firms across the jurisdiction and Private Capital arms of select Asset Management and Asset Owner firms.
Key responsibilities
- Meet annual sales targets of a Senior Salesperson.
- Develop a strategic calling plan for a defined universe of targets by building relationships with senior stakeholders at the client/prospect level.
- Create and maintain a sales pipeline to achieve targets through active engagement, aiming for 100 client interactions per year, including meetings and presentations.
- Develop and update a sales strategy document.
- Collaborate with business lines and product teams to define and execute innovative solutions and messaging for the segment.
- Position the firm ahead of RFPs and create value propositions to differentiate the organization.
- Work with SMEs, the RFP team, and management to deliver high-quality, differentiating RFP responses and sales documents.
- Enhance the firm's profile in the Private Markets segment by participating in industry and media events and staying updated on industry trends.
- Maintain strong relationships with relevant consultants to promote the firm's Private Markets capabilities.
- Coordinate with internal teams to stay informed about the bank's products and services, ensuring segment needs are met promptly.
- Adhere to internal and external policies regarding sales conduct.
- Establish close working relationships with FIC on mutual prospects.
Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in financial services and the firm's industry.
- Understanding of the global alternatives sector, including liquid hedge funds and illiquid private assets.
- A strong sales track record, particularly in Private Markets.
- Leadership skills and the ability to influence global stakeholders.
