About Our Client

Security Services division of a leading Global Bank in London

Job Description

Exciting opportunity for a Director - Senior Sales Manager Private Markets with the Security Services division of a leading Global Bank in London.

This individual will be responsible for raising the firm's profile as a Tier 1 solutions provider to the Private Capital market in the UK and Middle East, generating new client revenues to meet sales targets. Target clients include Pure Player Private Capital firms across the jurisdiction, as well as Private Capital arms of select Asset Management and Asset Owner firms.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Meet annual sales targets of a Senior Salesperson.
  2. Develop a strategic calling plan for a defined universe of targets by building relationships with senior stakeholders at the client/prospect level.
  3. Create and maintain a sustainable sales pipeline through an active calling program aiming for 100 client interactions per year, including meetings and presentations, positioning the firm positively and differentiating it from competitors.
  4. Develop and update a sales strategy document.
  5. Collaborate with business lines and product teams to define and implement innovative solutions and messaging for the segment.
  6. Position the firm ahead of RFPs by creating compelling value propositions to differentiate the organization.
  7. Coordinate with SMEs, the RFP team, and management to deliver high-quality, differentiated RFP responses and sales documents.
  8. Enhance the firm's profile in the Private Markets segment by participating in industry and media events and staying updated on industry trends.
  9. Maintain strong relationships with relevant consultants to positively promote the firm's Private Markets capabilities.
  10. Work closely with internal colleagues to stay informed about the bank's products and services and ensure segment-specific requirements are met promptly.
  11. Adhere to internal and external policies regarding appropriate sales conduct.
  12. Foster close collaboration with FIC on mutual prospects.

The Successful Applicant

We are seeking a candidate with:

  1. Proven experience in financial services and related industries.
  2. Understanding of the global alternatives sector, including Liquid Hedge Funds and illiquid Private Assets.
  3. A strong sales track record in Private Markets.
  4. Leadership skills and the ability to influence global stakeholders.
  5. Business entrepreneurship.
  6. Experience in leading and managing complex deals.
  7. A solid market reputation.
  8. Ability to operate in a complex, transversal environment.
  9. Commitment to management principles such as people care, client focus, risk awareness, leading by example, and innovation.
