Job Description:

We are seeking experienced Orthopaedic Scrub Practitioners to join our team in the East of Scotland for waiting list initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, contributing to the reduction of waiting times for orthopaedic surgeries.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide skilled assistance during orthopaedic surgeries, particularly major joint procedures.
2. Ensure the sterile field is maintained and all surgical instruments are handled correctly.
3. Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
4. Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and protocols.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of two years' post-graduate experience in operating theatres.
2. Proven competence in scrubbing for major joint surgeries.
3. Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
4. Eligible to work in the UK.
5. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
6. Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing demands.
