Job description

Treloar's is a charity that operates one of the UK's largest specialist education centres for young disabled people to live and learn. Through our school and college, we offer students the opportunity to fully participate in life and achieve their aspirations.

Chef

Position Details:

1. 25 hours per week, 9am - 2pm, Monday to Friday rota
2. GBP15,217.31 per annum (FTE 23,739)
3. Term time only, with optional 3 weeks during school/college holidays for additional pay

Role Overview:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Chef to join our catering team. The main responsibilities include preparing wholesome meals using fresh produce and managing the organisation, preparation, and cooking of dishes with modified textures for special diets.

Qualifications & Experience:

• City & Guilds 706/1 & 706/2 or NVQ/QCF Level 1 & 2 in Professional Cookery
• Experience in catering, preferably with complex diets
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team

Training for complex diets can be provided for the right candidate.
