Job summary

A leading consultancy is seeking a Scrum Master to facilitate agile ceremonies, promote transparency, and ensure adherence to Agile principles. Job description

Role: Scrum Master

Rate: £390 inside IR35

Location: Knutsford Cheshire or Northampton (either site, 2 days onsite)

Duration: 6-12 months

Job Description

• Facilitate agile ceremonies (Daily Stand-up, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives).
• Act as a servant-leader to the scrum team, ensuring Agile principles are adhered to.
• Remove impediments and foster an environment of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to align sprint goals with business objectives.
• Promote transparency and accountability within the team and towards leadership.

Skills Required

• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban).
• Experience in regulated environments, ideally in banking or financial services.
• Jira/Confluence proficiency.
• Excellent facilitation and coaching skills.
• Certifications: CSM/PSM, SAFe Scrum Master (preferred).
• Banking or regulatory compliance experience is an added advantage.
