Job Title: Front of House Assistant

Location: Farmer Copleys Farm, Pontefract

Salary: From 12.21 per hour

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (Day shifts) various days of the week - no less than 30 hours per week.

Farmer Copleys is a multi-award-winning Farm Shop, Café & Events business based in Pontefract, West Yorkshire. We grow pumpkins, strawberries, asparagus, rhubarb, raspberries, blackberries, apples, and liquorice. We operate seasonal Pick Your Own experiences and host flower fields in spring.

Our on-site facilities include a farm shop, deli, butchery, bakery, café, dessertery, and production kitchen. We supply ingredients for our Moo Café & Catered events, showcasing the best of British food and farming.

Our dedicated team of farmers, butchers, bakers, and chefs work to grow, make, and prepare our products and menus. At the core of our values are friendliness, cheekiness, welcoming, trust, and honesty. We aim to provide a relaxing environment for customers to enjoy coffee, cake, or hearty meals, with a warm and genuine team ensuring the best experience.

The Moo Café is open seven days a week, offering a seasonal menu and daily specials. We are seeking a new Front of House Assistant with previous experience and barista skills—especially the ability to craft excellent coffee!

This is a permanent position, not seasonal, suitable for someone seeking long-term employment.

Day-to-day duties include:

• Welcoming and serving customers with a friendly smile
• Delivering food and drinks to tables
• Taking orders using an iPad
• Clearing and cleaning tables
• Creating memorable moments for customers

Our ideal candidate will:

• Be confident and knowledgeable
• Have previous front of house experience
• Ideally possess barista skills
• Maintain health & safety and cleanliness standards
• Have a genuine passion for customer service
• Possess a positive attitude and vibrant personality
