Support Coordinator Gloucester

Support Coordinator Gloucester is a temporary, full-time role (37.5 hours per week) with rota working, offering a salary of £25,838 to £26,645 per annum, along with great benefits including a Health Cash Plan.

Are you passionate about supporting others and making a difference? As our Lead Support Worker (known as Coordinator), you'll support customers with complex needs to develop skills for independent living in the community. Your daily work will help customers achieve their hopes and aspirations, making a real impact.

Typical Day as a Lead Support Worker
  • Creating support plans with customers and coordinating a small team of Support Workers.
  • Supporting young persons with daily activities such as cooking, shopping, budgeting, maintaining tenancies, and transitioning to independent accommodation.
  • Carrying out risk assessments, support planning, goal setting, and reviews.
  • Engaging in informal chats and catch-ups, fostering a collaborative environment.

What You Bring
  • Passion for supporting customers to live their best lives with a collaborative approach and attention to detail.
  • Experience in creating person-centred support plans and supporting colleagues.
  • Experience in coordinating and assessing customer referrals.
  • Ability to work independently, remain calm under pressure, and be resilient.
  • A vehicle insured for business purposes (we pay mileage).

Job Details
  • Working hours: 37.5 hours over 7 days, with flexibility to meet customer needs.
  • Rota working pattern with regular team meetings and training.
  • Proficiency in technology for support plans, online learning, and collaboration.
  • Enhanced DBS check required (paid for by us).
