The Role
  1. Prepares and cooks a variety of meals that meet dietary requirements and preferences.
  2. Maintains high standards of quality, consistency, and presentation.
  3. Ensures the kitchen operates in full compliance with food hygiene and health & safety regulations.
  4. Assists in menu planning, stock control, and cost optimisation.
  5. Works collaboratively with the catering team to provide a seamless service.
The Ideal Candidate
  1. Possesses proven experience as a Chef, ideally in education, hospitality, or contract catering.
  2. Demonstrates strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen best practices.
  3. Thrives in a fast-paced environment and maintains efficiency under pressure.
  4. Displays a passion for creating great food and working as part of a team.
  5. Holds relevant culinary qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Professional Cookery) preferred.
