Job Role: Senior Vehicle Mechanic

Location: Derby, Derbyshire

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum / Overtime Available

Hours: Monday-Friday (Flexible Hours / 8.00-17.00 / 08.30-17.30 / 09.00-18.00)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

The client:

Interaction has partnered with one of the UK's fastest growing Class 4 & 7 motor vehicle traders & resellers. Due to substantial growth and development, we are seeking skilled vehicle mechanics to join this well-established organization on a full-time, permanent basis.

Duties:

• Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on Class 4 & 7 vehicles
• Clutch replacements, gearbox repairs, wheel alignment, engine fault diagnosis and repairs, alongside general motor works
• Collaborate with fellow mechanics and site staff to ensure timely repairs and effective customer quoting
• Attend company training and development sessions as required
• Work independently and as part of a team

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a vehicle mechanic working on Class 4/7 vehicles
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Motor Vehicle Repair & Maintenance) are advantageous but not essential
• Team player with a willingness to grow and develop
• Ability to perform vehicle diagnostics
