Job Title: Diagnostic/Senior Vehicle Technician

Location: Nottingham, NG9

Salary: Basic Salary Up To £37,440 + Bonus

Full Time and Permanent: 40hrs p/w Monday to Friday - NO WEEKENDS!!

Are you a skilled technician with experience in a franchised dealer environment? Our client’s well-established dealership in Nottingham is thriving, and they are looking for talented technicians to join their team. You will benefit from manufacturer training, a positive work environment, and plenty of work to keep you engaged.

As a vehicle technician, you should have the skills to diagnose faults, replace components, and restore vehicle systems to manufacturer standards. They welcome applications from experienced technicians trained to diagnostic or master technician levels, with a valid UK driving license and your own tools.

Role responsibilities include:

• Performing repairs and maintenance on customer vehicles, including mechanical and electrical work
• Conducting road tests post-repair
• Using advanced diagnostic equipment for fault finding
• Completing Vehicle Health Checks (VHC) to meet KPIs

Role requirements:

• Technical knowledge for safe and effective repairs
• Experience in a franchise dealership environment
• Ability to work to productivity targets
• Teamwork skills
• Qualified by experience or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
• Mentoring and coaching abilities
