Job description

Job Introduction:
We are seeking a talented and professional Sales Executive to play a key part in the continued growth of our Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles Dealership in Droitwich. This is an exciting opportunity to enter commercial sales, selling one of the world's most exciting brands.
Your working hours are between 8.30am - 6pm Monday to Friday, with 1 in 3 Saturdays from 9am to 5pm, which is a rarity in the motor trade.
Benefits include the use of a company car and an OTE of £50,000. The successful candidate will have guaranteed bonus earnings for their first 3 months to support you as you settle in!
This role would ideally suit someone with previous automotive sales experience; however, we welcome successful salespeople demonstrating a record of achieving and exceeding targets. We offer extensive training and support to help you develop into a future manager.
The role and responsibilities include:

  • Customer Satisfaction (CSI): Build trust, communicate effectively, and exceed customer expectations to ensure an industry-leading buying experience.
  • Maximising Opportunities: Prospect, follow-up calls, handle inbound enquiries, walk-in prospects, and internet enquiries to develop customer relationships through qualification and creating a positive first impression.
  • Maximising Profit: Follow the sales process and achieve monthly KPIs for unit sales, profit per unit, and add-on products.
  • Data Quality: Accurately collect and maintain customer contact and vehicle data to enhance the customer database.

What we're looking for:
  • A well-presented individual with the desire, character, and attitude to succeed.
  • Unlimited confidence, resilience, drive, energy, and talent.
  • The ability to quickly establish rapport with customers.
  • A valid UK driver’s license.
  • Motor trade, automotive, or dealership experience is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided.
