Oliver Smith Recruitment is working with a leading international manufacturing business in Glasgow, seeking to recruit a Finance Assistant to join their team.

This role offers a great opportunity for individuals eager to learn, develop their experience, and contribute to the company's growth.

The Finance Assistant will be part of a high-calibre in-house treasury team managing some of the group's international entities.

This position is ideal for candidates with some experience in bank reconciliations, processing payments, and credit control.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing and processing petty cash
• Credit control
• Manual cheque processing
• Daily and monthly reconciliation of bank financing facilities
• Reconciliation of inter-company financing accounts
• Monthly bank reconciliations and revaluations
• Processing DD invoices
• Daily posting of cash entries within strict timelines
• Month-end reporting and analysis of bank charges
• Processing employee expenses (credit cards)
• Assisting with parts of the management accounts close
• Month-end reporting
• Performing other ad hoc tasks as required
