Job summary

A leading construction company in Central London is looking for an HR Advisor for an initial 4-month period, with the possibility of becoming permanent. In this hybrid role, you will provide expert HR advice, support employee relations, and promote best practices in compliance with policies. Ideal candidates will have experience in employee relations, preferably in construction, and hold a CIPD Level 5 qualification. Strong Excel skills are also desirable.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing employee relations cases preferred.

  • Intermediate Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.

You will be working for a large construction company in Central London.

This role will operate on a hybrid working model and will require travel to various sites across London. The hybrid model will vary depending on weekly ER cases.

Your new role

You will be working as an HR Advisor for an initial 4-month period, with potential for this role to become permanent.

Some duties will include:

  1. Acting as the regional expert, coaching managers and providing comprehensive HR advice and support with employee relation queries and end-to-end management processes, empowering managers to make informed decisions.
  2. Supporting the delivery of the People Plan, promoting best practices in compliance with policies and procedures.
  3. Ensuring all casework administration is accurate and GDPR compliant, providing Learning and Development support, facilitating training sessions, and reviewing HR data insights to identify trends.
What you'll need to succeed

Previous experience managing employee relations cases, ideally within the construction industry, is preferred but not essential.

Holding a CIPD Level 5 qualification is desirable.

Intermediate Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables, are also desirable.

What you'll get in return

You will receive an annual salary of between £45,000 and £50,000, depending on experience.
