Job Description:

Based from home and working within the fast-growing BauWatch UK sales team, we’re looking for a Business Development Manager to focus on growing the Vacant Property Sector in the North of the UK. You will be targeted to manage and grow both new and existing business.

In this role, you will be responsible for sales within your specific region and will work closely as a key part of the Central-based Sales Team. This includes identifying, negotiating, and closing contracts to maximize market and sector penetration. You will support your peers and assist during times of illness and holiday.

With a primary focus on Vacant Property, you will prospect at office and site levels, identifying opportunities across diverse environments. BauWatch provides security and support services for void properties, refurbishment works, and regeneration projects across sectors like Social Housing, Emergency Services, Healthcare, Education, Retail, Commercial, and Residential.

Your role is vital to delivering our brand promise of outstanding customer satisfaction and service, so a customer-focused attitude is essential!

Key Tasks:

  • Prepare and deliver business plans to maximize revenue within a defined geography (e.g., Essex)
  • Support other regional salespersons with leads and conversions, working collaboratively to meet national targets
  • Research relevant markets and customers using internal and external resources to ensure opportunities are maximized
  • Create and record new sales opportunities through targeted approaches to generate additional revenue channels
  • Promote the BauWatch brand, core values, and mission
  • Contribute to establishing BauWatch as a market leader in the UK
  • Ensure full compliance with all H&S requirements, including PPE use
