Job description

RECfinancial is currently shortlisting exclusively for a Leicestershire-based business seeking an experienced Interim Financial Controller to strengthen its team.

Location and Commute

This position is commutable from Leicester, Warwickshire, Derby, and Nottingham.

Reporting and Responsibilities

Reporting to an experienced Finance Director, you will be fully involved in all aspects of finance, overseeing a well-formed team of five and supporting their ongoing development.

Key Duties

1. Manage all areas of month and year-end accounting.
2. Oversee P&L and business performance reporting.
3. Conduct commercial analysis.
4. Handle management accounting tasks including budgets, costing, analysis, assets, balance sheet reconciliations, and income statements.
5. Possess knowledge of SOX compliance (advantageous).

Candidate Profile

Applicants should be fully qualified ACA/ACCA or CIMA, preferably with experience in a manufacturing environment, and able to start immediately.
