McCormick Canada is currently hiring an HRBP I to join our HR team at our London office.

Position Description:

Under the guidance of the Human Relations Business Partner II, this role acts as a strategic partner to internal clients and leadership teams, developing and implementing programs that support organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Partner with client groups to establish goals, recruit, train, coach, and mentor employees, and support program adherence.
  2. Develop and administer HR programs, policies, and procedures aligned with McCormick’s values, including performance management, workforce planning, and talent development.
  3. Lead HR process improvements and change management initiatives from conception to execution.
  4. Serve as the first contact for employee relations, providing coaching, guidance, and support, and ensuring compliance with policies and legislative changes.
  5. Support recruitment activities for hourly positions, including onboarding and internship programs.
  6. Manage several HR programs such as Rewards & Recognition, Performance Management, and succession planning.
  7. Handle administrative duties like tracking metrics, maintaining employee records, and preparing employee communications.

Required Qualifications:

  1. University degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, or related field.
  2. At least 5 years of progressive HR experience.
  3. Experience in employee relations and investigations.
  4. Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  5. Ability to manage projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  6. Strong leadership, ethical standards, and professionalism.
  7. Ability to travel locally as needed.
