Job Title: Operations Manager

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions, a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management, is recruiting an Operations Manager to join the team located in Peterborough.

Role Summary:

Ensure team members are continually improving levels of service delivery, drawing on industry best practices and setting high benchmarks for the FM's to deliver. Maintain a strong client focus across all areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Be the primary strategic and operational support point for the Account Manager.
  2. Oversee all operational activity across the contract.
  3. Assist the Account Manager with overseeing and fulfilling all client reporting activities.
  4. Manage the team to shared objectives.
  5. Manage talent recruitment, retention, training, and performance management.
  6. Drive superior account performance to support the client business and contractual objectives.
  7. Develop short and long-term objectives to enhance service delivery levels, measure, deliver, and report against these.
  8. Ensure full contract compliance on operational, risk, and compliance matters.
  9. Measure the contract's performance against targets and scorecard compliance.
  10. Lead vendor relationships professionally and efficiently, building best-in-class relationships.
  11. Oversee all vendor relationships.
  12. Ensure CBRE's technology platform is optimized to support the client's operational needs and commercial value.
  13. Drive platform efficiencies within the account platform.
  14. Ensure all account Playbooks are current and meet the account's needs.
  15. Provide leadership and day-to-day management of the infrastructure functions of the business, with functional leads reporting in.
  16. Align functional objectives with client priorities and wider CBRE priorities.
Key Skills / Experience / Requirements:
  • Ability to work dynamically at pace, with regular re-prioritization, and deliver under pressure.
  • Experience in corporate real estate or facilities management.
  • Procurement experience is required.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large teams.
  • Experience in H&S and Energy Management is a distinct advantage.
  • Experience delivering large-scale change programs is an advantage.
  • Skills include organizational development, personnel management, budget and resource development, and strategic planning.
  • Excellent people skills with the ability to lead and support a dynamic leadership team.
  • Successful track record working in international corporate businesses.
