Media Disputes Lawyer (FTC – 9 to 12 months)

An award-winning, top-ranked legal team specialising in media law is seeking an experienced Associate or Senior Associate to join its dynamic disputes practice for a fixed-term maternity cover. The Role

You will join a highly regarded team recognised as a market leader in media disputes, with a diverse client base that includes national and international news organisations, publishers, broadcasters, streaming services, and online media platforms.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Advising on a wide range of contentious matters including defamation, privacy, data protection, and newsgathering issues
2. Providing pre-publication/content clearance advice and handling regulatory complaints (where applicable)
3. Managing a varied and fast-paced caseload, with direct client contact
4. Contributing to business development and team growth initiatives

About You
