Technical Sales Manager – Ventilation Products

Remuneration: £45,000 - £55,000 + uncapped commission (1.5% of all sales) + discretionary annual bonus between £6,000 - £10,000

The role of the Technical Sales Manager – Ventilation Products will involve:

1. Field sales position selling a high-quality manufactured range of ventilation products and systems.
2. Focusing on social housing, local authorities, and new build projects such as office blocks, apartment blocks, hotels, student accommodation, etc., as well as associated commercial projects.
3. The majority of your time will be focused on generating specifications via building services consultants, M&E consultants, specifiers, and housing developers.
4. The remaining time will be spent selling into M&E contractors, main contractors, sub-contractors, developers, and builders.
5. Most of your efforts will involve developing new business relationships and expanding existing accounts.
6. Typical projects will range from around £50k to £500k, depending on project size.

Ideal Candidate:

• Background as a technical manager or related technical field, looking to move into field sales.
• Strong technical knowledge and sales capabilities.
• Experience with HVAC products such as ventilation systems, ducting, air handling units, extract fans, heat recovery units, boilers, radiators, fans, attenuation units.
• Contacts with M&E consultants, social housing specifiers, main contractors, and subcontractors are advantageous.
• Highly organized team player.
