Job summary

Job description

Job Title: HR Business Partner

Bramah HR is recruiting for an HR Business Partner to join a fantastic client based in Hitchin, Hertfordshire. This role is ideal for an experienced, commercially astute HR professional accustomed to managing senior stakeholders. It is a generalist position involving a broad scope of duties across the HR function.

Responsibilities:
  1. Work with senior colleagues to provide guidance on HR policy, procedures, and strategy, acting as a trusted partner and coach on HR best practices to build collaborative relationships.
  2. Manage complex employee relations cases, ensuring outcomes are both commercially positive and people-focused.
  3. Assist in recruitment processes, including advertising vacancies, driving candidate attraction initiatives, and managing processes with senior colleagues.
  4. Collaborate with the wider HR team to develop and update HR policies and procedures.
  5. Work closely with the HR Administrator and Payroll teams to ensure employee information is accurate and up-to-date in HR systems.
Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Experience in a similar HR Business Partner role, with experience managing senior stakeholders.
  2. CIPD Level 5 qualification minimum; Level 7 is desirable.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Strong commercial acumen and business understanding.
  5. Strong knowledge of employment law.
  6. Line management experience is a plus.
