LET’S CUT STRAIGHT TO IT
New job? Great! New career? Wonderful!
You’re not only looking for your next job. You’re looking for a career. A role where you can really make a difference. Where the possibilities are endless.
We’re looking for people to join us in our Customer Solutions department to support our customers - and with no scripts or sales targets you can be your best self. At Hafren Dyfrdwy, we want people, not robots.
Haven’t got customer service or water industry experience? Don’t worry, we can help you with that – we’ll give you all the training you need to succeed.
Sound good? Let us tell you more.
LET’S TELL YOU MORE
You’ll be the voice of Hafren Dyfrdwy. But just as important, you’ll be listening to what customers tell you and helping them with the right information. Every call is different; one minute you’ll be helping someone with their bill, the next you might be dealing with a leak. So, if you’re a good listener with attention to detail this is the role for you.
You’ll work in our busy customer hub full of like-minded people. It’s a great open plan office environment, based in Rhostyllen, Wrexham. There’s fun incentives, free parking, and free tea and coffee, all made with our marvellous water of course.
Don’t worry if this is something that you’ve not done before. We’re interested in what you can bring to the role. In return you’ll have training, so you’re well prepared and confident to take calls from our customers.
Our water is vital to our customers, so we need to be around when they need us. You’ll be working shiftstotalling40 hours per weekbetween the hours of 8:00am and 6:00pm, Monday to Friday – we don’t work weekends or Bank Holidays.
Don’t worry – you’ll always have plenty of notice of your shifts, plus lots of annual leave. We know you have a life outside work, too!
Still you? Excellent.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Limited or no experience? Don’t worry, we’ve got you.
Essential - We are looking for people who are fluent Welsh speakers to help us provide a great experience to our customers who prefer to correspond with us in Welsh, both written and verbal.
We want someone who’s keen to make a positive difference to our customers. Your character, positivity and a caring attitude are the things we’re looking for. It’s great if you have some kind of customer focused experience such as retail, hospitality, sales or similar. But even if you haven’t, we can help you with this.
It’s a fast-paced environment so you’ll need to be comfortable in resolving one query and then moving quickly onto the next.
At Hafren Dyfrdwy you can be the person you want to be. We welcome people from all walks of life and celebrate individuality as we know diverse minds, experiences and backgrounds help us to learn and better serve our communities. We employ thousands of people from across our community who really care about what they do. Because that is how we do what we do.
And when it comes to inclusion, we’re making sure we keep up the progress with our wonderful working groups – LGBTQ+, Women in Operations & STEM, Disability and Ethnicity, who help us do just that.
We do more, because we care.
HOW WE’LL REWARD AND CARE FOR YOU IN RETURN
It’s not just a job you’ll get here, you’ll get a career too. We have a range of benefits that reward and recognise great work and award-winning training to ensure you reach your potential. And we’ll also help you play your part in looking after the environment and the community in which we live.
Here’s some of our favourites:
And when it comes to your health, we’ve recently launched a new 'health fund' to help contribute to private medical treatment for those struggling to get treatment on the NHS. Plus, we’ll also look after your wellbeing with our free physio, mental health counselling and virtual GP service.
