We’re looking for an experienced and friendly hands-on Maintenance Manager with strong technical skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to deliver flawless service to join our team.

The Role

As a Maintenance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring efficient maintenance operations that meet hotel brand standards, providing excellent guest experiences and achieving 100% guest satisfaction.

Your key duties will include:

  1. Managing the maintenance service and team by planning and allocating work duties to ensure productivity, room availability, and guest satisfaction.
  2. Leading by example through participation in hands-on maintenance tasks and acting as a point of contact for maintenance-related jobs.
  3. Reporting and logging any maintenance defects found in rooms and other areas.
  4. Managing stock control and maintenance of equipment efficiently.
  5. Inspecting guest rooms and public areas to ensure quality standards.
  6. Coordinating efforts with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Front Office departments.
  7. Documenting and resolving issues with discrepant rooms, and managing room assignments.
  8. Assisting management with training, scheduling, and adhering to safety and security policies; reporting safety hazards or accidents.
  9. Developing positive working relationships with colleagues and responding appropriately to their concerns.
  10. Ensuring adherence to quality standards and using computers or point-of-sale systems for work-related tasks.
  11. Working with the Operations Manager to uphold health, safety, and security practices, including emergency procedures.
What we need from you

Previous experience in Facilities Management, with relevant qualifications (e.g., H&S, legionella, plumbing, electrical). A commitment to delivering exceptional guest service, strong communication and organizational skills, a can-do attitude, and flexibility are essential. Good command of English is required.
