Role Overview

This position involves supporting young people by providing emotional and practical assistance to help them achieve independence, transition into independent living, and engage in employment or education. You will work collaboratively as part of a team that values differences and creative thinking.

Key Responsibilities

1. Offer day-to-day support aligned with support plans and as requested by the young person's keyworker.
2. Motivate and empower young people to reach their full potential.
3. Build strong relationships with young people, understanding the impacts of homelessness, domestic abuse, and trauma.
4. Respond proactively to crises with a forward-thinking attitude.
5. Remain calm and composed in challenging and traumatic situations.

Location and Contract Details

Location: Caerphilly

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: 47 hours per week, including shifts with two night shifts (4.45 pm - 9.45 am) and two day shifts (9.30 am - 5 pm). Night shift hours may include sleeping hours (11.30 pm - 7 am) or waking hours as needed for support and safeguarding.
