Procurement Manager - Public Sector - Hybrid Working

Our client has a brand new role within a dynamic and growing team.

The role has been created to:

1. Support the team and troubleshoot procurement queries
2. Discover procurement solutions
3. Engage with existing and potential customers to explain procurement benefits
4. Hold educational webinars for customers to keep abreast of procurement updates
5. Identify public sector procurement changes
6. Upskill consultants on procurement best practices
7. Support the Project Delivery Team with procurement-related queries to ensure full compliance
8. Maintain the project database (CRM system)
9. Advise on delivery contract particulars
10. Attend and participate in introductory and prospective client meetings
11. Research public sector policy changes for efficient project/client tracking

Suitable applicants should have experience (current or previous) working in a public sector organisation.

Ideally, you will have knowledge of construction contracts such as JCT / NEC, and:

• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Have experience in procurement or legal roles
• Possess great communication skills
• Be confident to challenge and advise on procurement best practices
