MULTISKILLED MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

SUTTON COLDFIELD

3 SHIFT PATTERN

1. Nights 10pm - 6am (Sun-Thurs)
2. PM 2pm - 10pm (Mon-Fri)
3. AM 6am - 2pm (Mon-Fri)

Salary: £51,731 per annum + Benefits

A leading manufacturing company is currently seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team. This company is experiencing growth due to the demand for their products within a stable industry. They welcome engineers of varying experience levels who are eager to contribute their skills.

Based near Sutton Coldfield, you will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance on fast-paced production machinery.

Role Responsibilities

• Perform reactive and planned preventative maintenance on production machinery.
• Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks.
• Participate in lean continuous improvement projects.
• Read electrical diagrams and fault find electrical systems.
• Maintain good knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Report to the Engineering Team Leader.
• Work within a team of skilled electrical and mechanical maintenance engineers.

Skills and Qualifications

• Experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Formal qualification, ideally Level 3 or equivalent.
• Experience in FMCG, food, automotive, plastics, packaging, or heavy industry manufacturing.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
