We are seeking an experienced communications and engagement professional to join our team. You will be responsible for managing specific projects and delivering communications to over 14,000 staff members, as well as external stakeholders including communities, partners, and the media. We are looking for a creative individual to develop and implement innovative engagement strategies that inspire and involve both internal and external audiences.
Essential qualifications include experience in communications, public relations, media, or marketing, supported by relevant professional qualifications. Experience in public or community engagement is also required. Digital communications are particularly important, including managing content for our website, intranet, and social media platforms, alongside traditional print materials, media releases, and statements.
The role involves shaping our online presence through content creation and platform management, working collaboratively within a team. The ideal candidate will have exceptional interpersonal skills, resilience, organization skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
While NHS experience is advantageous, the key qualities we seek include the ability to quickly adapt, bring creativity to communication campaigns, demonstrate best practice stakeholder engagement, and produce engaging digital content. The role may require travel across the Tayside region, so the ability to travel is essential.

This is a full-time position, working 37 hours per week. All employees must adhere to the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland.
