WorkWise for Screen is a £1.5m pilot programme supported by the BFI awarding National Lottery funding. It aims to provide the screen industry with practical resources and guidance to support equity, inclusion, and respect in the workplace. The programme includes an online platform, podcast series, and peer-to-peer network, targeting screen sector SME Leaders and Heads of Department across production, animation, VFX, gaming, distribution, and exhibition. Target Audience:
Our target audiences include SMEs, independent and global production companies, particularly focusing on management and budget holders within these organisations. We aim to engage leaders and decision-makers within production companies, covering diverse fields of production from small to large enterprises.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Online Community Engagement Manager to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering and managing online communities, building relationships, and encouraging participation. This role involves creating engaging content that stimulates conversation, moderating discussions, and ensuring a positive and inclusive environment for community members. Additionally, the manager will develop and conduct polls to gather insights that will inform the programme and its content development. We aim to generate conversation and discussion via our Community page on the WorkWise for Screen platform as well as our digital channels.
This is a highly collaborative role with the postholder working closely with the Content Producer, Programme Coordinator, Communications Team and Bond & Coyne in particular.

Summary of terms:
Salary: £35,000 p.a. (FTE)
Contract: 13 months fixed term contract (01 June 2025 – 30 June 2026).
Start date: 01 June 2025 (negotiable)
Annual leave: 25 days per annum pro rata + UK bank holidays
Pension: Auto-enrolment. 3% employer’s contribution.
Working hours: This part time role is 18.75 hours per week (excluding lunch break) worked flexibly across the week (usual office hours 9am – 5pm). Due to the nature of the role, some evening or weekend work may be required for which TOIL will be available.
Probation period: Two months, during which either party may terminate the contract with four weeks’ notice.Notice period is two months following the successful completion of the probation period.
Place of work:Home with some potential for travel and working away.
Equipment: Can be provided if required.
Employer: The successful candidate will be employed by ProArtsPlus Limited (the Programme Director’s company)
