Calico Interiors is excited to announce that we are currently looking for a New Technical Sales Manager! Applicants must be highly organized and ambitious to enhance our brand presence and client engagement by producing technical window treatment schedules and negotiating contracts with suppliers and architects. This position offers a valuable opportunity for an eager individual to take control of the home automation services within the bespoke interior design industry.

About the Role:

One of your main responsibilities will be to focus on growing and developing existing key clients/accounts, as well as generating new business for electrical product installation services, including tracks, blinds, etc., by working with the most competitive and cost-effective suppliers. You will conduct continuous analysis of the competitive environment, including competitors' alternatives and consumer trends, and stay updated with developments in the design industry. Promoting new ranges of technical shading solutions where appropriate will also be part of your role. An ideal candidate will possess good product knowledge of all our offerings to advise clients on the most suitable technical window treatment options.

As the Technical Sales Manager, you will need excellent communication skills, as you’ll be the first point of contact for inbound client inquiries, managing supplier accounts, and liaising with architects on design requirements.

Knowledge & Experience Required:

• Knowledge of electrical installations and experience working alongside AV companies is beneficial.
• Proficiency in IT and technical skills, especially Microsoft Office applications like Excel.
• Ability to read, understand, and explain building plans thoroughly.
• Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

This role requires both office-based and on-the-road working, so a full driver’s license is essential.
