Job description

We're working closely with a respected social housing provider in Manchester who is looking to bring in an HR Advisor to support their team during a busy period.

This role is ideal for someone with generalist HR experience looking to make an impact in a purpose-driven organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide HR advice and support to managers across the business
2. Manage employee relations cases, including attending hearings
3. Coach managers on best practices and people management
4. Support recruitment processes and onboarding
5. Monitor and manage absence reporting and planning
6. Assist with HR reporting and data tracking
7. Contribute to ongoing HR projects and initiatives
8. Maintain strong working relationships with trade unions

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in a similar HR Advisor or HR Assistant role
• Good understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment law
• Confident communicator with strong organisational skills
• CIPD Level 5 is a plus but not essential
