Role overview

As a Commercial Manager in Home Claims, you'll execute our commercial and trading strategy, working with internal and external stakeholders to meet ambitious targets and support our transformation into a market-leading Home Claims function. This role covers all aspects of the Home Claims strategy.

Job details - demonstrable experience in:

• Supporting the delivery of our Home Claims strategy to maximize commercial outcomes
• Driving data-led performance improvements across Hastings Direct's matrix and external suppliers
• Managing contractual relationships with external suppliers for optimal outcomes
• Managing risk and business continuity, developing mitigation strategies
• Owning the commercial performance of key components of Home Claims
• Identifying trading performance improvement opportunities

Essential skills

• Knowledge of home claims and commercial aspects within home claims settling (highly desirable)
• Strong commercial aptitude with analytical skills to interpret complex data and concepts
• Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting to and influencing senior stakeholders

The interview process

Our process includes:

• Initial screening call
• First-stage interview with a case study (1hr 30min via Microsoft Teams)
• Second-stage interview with the department director (30min via Teams)
