Job Description: Talent Strategy Manager | S | People and Culture - 12-month FTC, Milton Keynes

Join our community and be part of a challenging, interim role within our newly formed Talent Centre of Excellence (CoE). Reporting to the Senior Talent Strategy Manager, you will contribute to shaping the talent landscape at Santander, focusing on talent strategy and frameworks, succession planning, internal mobility, skills-based and leadership development. Collaborate with experienced professionals in a dynamic team to drive value, ensure positive customer outcomes, and influence organizational talent strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support the development of multi-year and short-term strategies for Talent, Learning, Recruitment & Onboarding, and Workforce Planning.
2. Provide thought leadership by staying informed on industry best practices, data analysis, and trends.
3. Review policies cyclically, simplify processes, and ensure compliance with policies and frameworks.
4. Analyze complex data sets to inform decisions and improve talent outcomes.
5. Engage with peers to align global and local strategies.
6. Prepare reports for executive and board-level presentations.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience in a Talent Strategy role within a complex, global organization.
• Proven ability to define and implement talent strategies and analyze market trends.
• Technical expertise in Talent, Learning, Recruitment & Onboarding, and Workforce Planning.
• Strong interpersonal skills to foster trust and alignment across all levels.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience working within an agile framework.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
• CIPD qualification or equivalent in Human Resources or related field.
