What You Will Do:As a Design Engineer, you will play a key role in developing bespoke product designs for aircraft cabin interior components. You'll collaborate with Program Management, customers, internal departments, and suppliers to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating 2D and 3D CAD designs using SolidWorks
- Managing Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Preparing test solutions and supporting qualification testing documentation
- Designing across multiple disciplines, including moulding, sheet metal, machining, cables, PCB assemblies, etc.
- 3D printing prototyping and development, prototype hands on build
- Revising documentation based on feedback from peers, customers, and certification authorities
- Conducting drawing and documentation checks
- Reviewing technical documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Attending internal/external meetings and participating in offsite travel as required (minimal)

- Meticulous attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability
- Comfort navigating a dynamic engineering office environment
- Solid communication skills, with the confidence to contribute across all levels of the business
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- High-level expertise in SolidWorks or similar CAD software
Qualifications You Must Have:- Degree, HNC, or HND in a relevant engineering discipline
- Product Design experience in an engineering environment
Experience We Would Like:- Basic Electronics understanding
